Airports

Dealing with FAA procedures requires great attention to detail and a full understanding of the AIP program guidelines - Experience counts!  Morrison-Shipley’s staff has been involved with FAA AIP projects on small non-hub airports totaling in excess of $30 million.  These projects include runway and taxiway pavement rehabilitations, new aircraft parking ramps, lighting and signage, access roads, drainage improvements, and most notably site development and airside improvements for a new passenger terminal complex.

In many cases, airport projects we have served required very tight schedules to take advantage of discretionary AIP grants.  We have succeeded on these projects by completing their designs within weeks while delivering projects, on average, 5% under budget.
