September 29, 2008

Bentonville, AR – The City of Bentonville, Arkansas has selected Morrison-Shipley Engineers to prepare streetscape designs for South Main Street between Central Avenue and Arkansas Hwy. 102.  The project will create a defined gateway entry to Main Street and the downtown area by incorporating extensive landscaping, special lighting, and other hardscape improvements with new on-street parking.  “Morrison-Shipley is proud to lead efforts of improving aesthetics within the downtown area.  This is an important piece in the overall plan to revitalize the area” according to John Wary, P.E., MSE Vice President and Bentonville Division Manager.  Morrison-Shipley recently completed site design for the BFD Fire Station No. 1 located near the current project site.  This construction cost for this project is estimated at $3.0 million.
